Our Cozy Winter Photoshoot

A cozy winter photo shoot? Yes please! I’ve finally had time to go through our whole gallery and pretty much, I’m obsessed! I knew it was a bit of a risk to take photos in the winter, particularly because I was determined to take a few at the beach. While it did end up being beautifully sunny, it was also unseasonably cold on the day of our shoot. However, after visiting Munich & Salzburg in December, we felt pretty comfortable we could keep Mark warm enough to try a few outdoor pictures!  So, we bundled our baby up and headed to the beach…

18 for 2018

A new year & a fresh start. There is something so refreshing about January 1st. Out with the old and in with the new. A time for new goals, planning the next adventure, and a time to imagine what the new year will bring. Of course, life always has its own plan, but I like to pretend I have some control over it. I spent the past few days working up what I want to accomplish in this year. With 2018 starting with a bang (read: transatlantic move & buying our first home in less then a month), I have no doubt 2018 will be one to remember. 2017 Round Up

In lieu of a “best nine”, I’m rounding up my favorite memory from each month this past year. 2017 was an absolute whirlwind with the highest highs and lots of learning. Of course, the highlight of the year was welcoming our sweet baby boy into the world. Becoming Mark’s mama and watching Brett becoming a dad has truly made this my favorite year. 2017, you will be a tough one to beat.

The Number One Thing I’ve Learned Since Becoming a Mom

When we welcomed our baby boy, Mark, it was hard to imagine how he would impact our lives. I was certain he would, but not sure in what ways. As I sit here looking at my almost five month old, I find myself reflecting on how much he has already taught me. Mark has brought us more love, joy, & happiness then we could have ever imagined. But the number one thing he has taught me is to appreciate the moment.
